General Information on Supporting KDUV fm

KDUV FM is governed by Community Educational Broadcasting, Inc., a 501(c)3 not-for-profit ministry. No one owns the corporation which is held for charitable purposes. A board of directors governs the organization without compensation for their governance.

Listener Donations account for approximately 80% of KDUV FM’s support. The organization conducts two, three-day fundraisers per year where the listener is invited to call in their pledge of support.

Business Underwriting accounts for 10% of KDUV FM’s support through local businesses. Their contributions are acknowledged with underwriting announcements. They are different from commercials and the Federal Communications Commission has strict guidelines on acknowledgements.

Special Fundraisers/promotions account for 10% of the support and come from non-profit concert and event promotions and other miscellaneous fundraisers. The Central and South San Joaquin Valley has become popular for Christian concerts and KDUV fm has been able to partner with promoters. In return for the cooperation KDUV fm receives donations from the proceeds of these events.
