Facebook is a website that connects people based on mutual friends and common interests. Our official KDUVfm page is designed to promote community among KDUVfm listener. Whether you are a longtime fan or new to this application, Facebook is a great way to interact with others in the KDUVfm family.
What is Twitter?
Twitter is a free social networking service that allows friends to stay connected through real-time updates that answer the question: "What are you doing?" Updates to Twitter are called tweets and are confined to 140 characters. Twitter can be synced with your smart phone for easy updates on the go.
Please Note: Twitter is free via the internet, but using SMS (Short Message Service) for phone updates may incur service provider fees, depending on your phone plan.
How do I get started?
The first step is to create your own Facebook account or Twitter profile. This is free and easy to do. A valid e-mail address is required. Once you have registered on Facebook, you can "like" the official KDUVfm page and invite friends to do the same. On Twitter, you can get the latest updates from the KDUVfm profile and connect with other KDUVfm listeners by following their pages and allowing them to follow yours.
What can I post?
The KDUVfm pages on Facebook and Twitter are monitored regularly, and we ask that all participants observe our social media guidelines. Inappropriate content, language, or negative critiques (whether personal or general) will not be tolerated. The KDUVfm pages are not the proper format for people to promote their business or political agendas or to promote or raise funds for special causes.
